After hitting the three waterfalls, we had some time left over to visit Ásbyrgi Canyon in the afternoon. Ásbyrgi is a very large horseshoe-shaped canyon. There are several hiking rials in the canyon. Given we didn’t have a heap of time, we opted for one of the shorter loops. Because we were in the canyon, there were deep shadows and bright highlights in the frame. To get a well exposed shot, I ended up taking 3 different exposures and blending it together in Aurora HDR.
The polarising filter on the lens did a great job of cutting out the reflections when i was photographing the small lake in the middle of the canyon.
Thanks for stopping by today.
