I’m back from my two week trip to Europe, back from settling back into the routine of life. Which means I’m back from my blogging hiatus. I had a lovely European summer over in Santorini, Bulgaria and Budapest. It was a mix of relaxing, exploring the city and spending time with friends (Since i was over in Bulgaria for a friend’s wedding). A great mix of activities, and not my usual holiday itinerary. I also had an awesome time using the Fujifilm X-T20 and Fujinon 23mm F2 (thanks to Fujifilm Australia for the loan). That was the combination in my hands most of the time while I was travelling. More on that in a future post.
A couple of days before flying off to Europe at the end of June, I managed to squeeze in some time to check out Brookfield Winter Lights in Perth. I went last year and thought it was pretty neat. This year, the theme was arcade games. The building were colourful and the arcade music blaring through the speakers really set the atmosphere of being in an arcade. Unfortunately it was a rainy night in Perth, so I only spent about 20 to 30 minutes exploring the area. These are some of my top shots from the night, but my favourite shot is the black and white shot below. With the crazy amounts of colours it was hard to get pleasing skin tones, so I think the black and white shot worked really well for a portrait shot.
Thanks for stopping by today. I will be back to sharing photos and stories from my Iceland adventures.
