This is the fourth and final part of my south west series. Our last last of the long weekend trip started off with beautiful blue skies, then progressed to strong winds and thick clouds. We started out morning with breakfast at Bunkers Beach House, along Bunker Bay beach. They are famous for their delicious scrambled eggs on toast. A simple breakfast like that and a hot cup of coffee was a lovely way to kick out our final day of vacationing. We walked around the pristine white sandy beaches for a bit after breakfast, enjoying the sun and the view.

We had a big day planned for our full day down south. We started our second day of the long weekend with breakfast at White Elephant Beach Cafe. It’s quite literally a cafe with the beach. The food was simple and hearty. It’s a popular spot as people can enjoy the beautiful views of the beach while munching away at breakfast or enjoying a cuppa.

As promised in my previous blog post, this one is dedicated to Sugarloaf Rock in Dunsborough. The above photo of Sugarloaf Rock was taken before I attended the Fuji X Aus Perth Landscape Photography workshop. Landscape photography has become one of my favourite genres of photography since I changed over to the Fujifilm X mirrorless camera system. It’s hard to go wrong with the combination of experiencing nature and its beauty with the creativity of photography. When I heard from our fellow FXA Perth reps Gus and Chong that they were looking into organising FXA Perth’s first ever landscape photography workshop down in Margaret River, I was stoked! I was also excited to hear a fellow FXA Facebook community member James Posilero will be running the workshop. I’ve long admired his beautiful landscape photography that he shares in the group. It was a fun and educational weekend down in the Margaret River region of Western Australia. It was also the perfect sized group of 6 photographers. We got to know each other, our photography interests and also learned from each other.
