A couple of weeks ago, I was approached by friend and developer IE House to do a fun collaboration with a coffee roaster Pastel Coffee and newly opened Sanctum Cafe in Victoria Park. The premise of the photoshoot was to do a lifestyle branding shoot featuring Pastel Coffee’s Sanctum blend that is purpose roasted for Sanctum Cafe. The key photographs we were aiming to achieve were day in the life style images of enjoying coffee at home, making coffee at home (espresso style and pour over filter coffee) and also some product shots of the coffee itself.
The images featured Pastel Coffee roaster and one of Sanctum Cafe’s co-owners. Iconic furniture pieces such as the Eames Wire Base Low Table, Artek Aalto Table, Artek Bench 153 were also featured in the space. I not only had fun doing the shoot itself, but also had a great time getting to know the team and learning so much more about coffee roasting! I also really enjoyed putting together this photo series documenting the coffee making journey at home.
All the photos were taken with the Fujifilm X-T4 and the Fujinon 35mm f1.4 lens and edited in Lightroom. It was my first shoot of the year and I’m exited to be getting back into more photography and blogging this year.
Thanks for stopping by today. Do you drink coffee? What’s your favourite brew?
J.
