Most ramen-lovers in Perth will likely be familiar with Dosukoi noodle shop located inside Fremantle markets. It’s been around since 2007 and it was probably one of the first few ramen shops in Perth before the ramen craze took off! It doesn’t seat many people however you won’t need to wait long for your ramen as the service is quick and people tend to be in and out of there quickly. They’re only open on Fridays to Sundays, so it’s definitely a weekend kind of activity.
A few weekends ago we were in Fremantle and decided to try it for ourselves. I love trying the “original” ramen when I’m trying a new joint for the first time. It was hearty and hot bowl of soup, very comforting for what was a chilly spring day.
I was out with my favourite lens, the Fujinon 35mm f1.4, and managed to capture some straight out of camera images using my Fujifilm X-T10. The base film simulation was classic chrome.
I’ve been taking more photos from some local trips around Western Australia (while boarders are still locked down), so I have quite a back log of images and stories to share. I’m also writing another 1-2 articles for Fujifilm Instax Australia so watch this space! In the meantime, I thought I would share this little tidbit of my recent SOOC images. Thanks for stopping by today.
