Last night we probably had the biggest turn out at a Perth Fuji X Aus meet up yet. Around 19 people were in attendance. I was excited to head out to the meetup as a rep for the first time. It was great meeting new faces who haven’t made it to the meetups so far and also to catch up with some familiar faces. We even had “surprised” guests from across the Nullarbor from Melbourne. It was fantastic to have Ian and Rena Tan (fellow Melbourne reps) join us for for the night. They are a wealth of knowledge and fun.
The night didn’t end at photo-walking. For half of us we continued our night of photography chat with fried chicken, beers, shots and cheese foam bubbletea! I spent more time engaging with others in the group than photo-taking last night. But I did a few shots that I liked.
Shout out to Gus and Chong for being such great hosts as always, I feel honored to be part of the Perth team. I’m looking forward to helping out in the organisation of more Perth events in the future. We have a great vibrant and enthusiastic bunch of Fujifilm camera shooters here in Perth. Thanks for stopping by today.
