For Father’s day last year in September, we spent a day in Perth Hills with the family. We kicked off our day at Masonmills Garden and Restaurant. We enjoyed the autumn sunshine while we had lunch outdoors. After lunch we walked around the gardens. We were greeted with an amazing bloom of cherry blossoms around the gardens. After lunch we enjoyed a late afternoon snack and drink at Core Cider House to finish off our day.
I kept my camera kit simple for the day. The Fujifilm X-T4 and the Fujinon XF 35mm f1.4 lens. All the images were also straight out of the camera, Kodachrome 64 inspired film simulation (thanks to the ever popular Fuji X Weekly’s film simulation formulas).

It was so freeing to just shoot with no post-processing editing. It was for the pure joy of photography and documentation of daily life. Hope you enjoy this small set of image.
Thanks for stopping by today and happy shooting.
