Finlay & Son no 917 is a hip little cafe located along Beaufort Street in Inglewood. I liked the fact that it was further up away from the hustle and bustle of Mt Lawley. It meant the crowds were thinner and there were plenty of street parking. I met up with a couple of friends on a Sunday for lunch. Given the hot Perth weather, a scorcher at 38 degrees that day, we opted to sit inside in the aircon.
The menu had a few standard brunch items and a few interesting additions. I decided to try the apple sausage, mustard sauce, sauerkraut and crispy homemade chips ($18). Instead of getting my usual flat white, I opted for a long mac ($4). The cafe has a rustic and relaxed feel to it. It’s the kind of place where people can sit quietly working away at a computer with a cup of coffee. I wouldn’t mind coming back another time to try a few other items on the menu.
Thanks for stopping by today.
