I heard of this cafe called Hylin in West Leederville a couple of years ago but never made it until a few weeks ago. I’ve attempted to go a number of times when I was looking for somewhere to brunch, but it always seem to fall on a Sunday (which is the day Hylin is closed). As expected the place was packed when we arrived. We waited around 45 minutes before we finally got a tablet for three.
The food menu was pretty enticing which made selecting a dish rather difficult.
Blue Note Blend of flat white ($4.20)
I settled on the slow cooked spiced beef brisket, served on top of patatas bravas, with two poached eggs and chipotle sauce ($18.50). I was very pleased with my choice! It was packed with flavour and very filling.
I’m glad I finally got to check out Hylin. It’s somewhere I would highly recommend, especially if you can go on a weekday to beat crowds that will be there on a weekend.
Thanks for stopping by today.
J.
