I’m once again digging Into The Archives. This post shares photos I took in August last year when a couple of friends and I were trying to locate this so called “secret garden”. If you didn’t already know, the “secret garden” is actually hidden away in the northern suburbs. This “secret garden” was all the rage on social media last year, to the point where people who knew of the location were leading others on a wild goose chase! Well the secret is definitely out now. This “secret garden” is actually Careniup Wetlands at Careninup Lake in Gwelup, City of Stirling.
When we were there, there were plenty of people exploring the wetland and trudging through mud. There were even photographers doing photoshoots there. I would recommend some gumboots, especially if it’s been raining recently. If you’re looking for a cool little location to shoot at, the secret garden is certainly somewhere to check out. These photos were taken with my Canon 60D and the 50mm f1.4 lens. Despite my love for the Fujifilm x-series cameras, my Canon DSLR has served me well and has given me plenty of images to cherish.
Expect more Into The Archives posts as I dig into old photos. Thanks for stopping by today.
J.
