This is the fifth and final post of the blog series on Open House Perth 2018. I had a great time volunteering for the event and met a bunch of interesting people who were volunteers. I really enjoyed volunteering as a photographer and shooting with the Fujifilm X-T10 and the 23mm f2 lens. Its not a normal lens that photographers would use in real estate or architectural photography. However I really approached the 2 days of photographing with an event photography approach. Capturing the people attending the event and enjoying the space. As well as capturing the beautiful architecturer and the fellow volunteers at each of the site I visited. I feel like I’ve grown and improved my skills as a photographer with two full days of photography. In addition to being able to check out some well designed and beautiful buildings around Perth.
Orange Avenue, Perth. A single storey building with a cool rooftop BBQ area with great views of the inner city of Perth.
Mounsey House, Mount Hawthorn. A beautiful architecturally designed two-storey home. Modern and classy.
Ogilvie House in Mount Hawthorn. By the same architects and designers of Mounsey House.
I hope you enjoyed the Open House Perth 2018 series of blog posts highlighting my favourite destinations for 2018. Thanks for stopping by today.
