Last weekend I braved the cold morning and headed out to shoot the sunrise near Raffles Hotel in Applecross with the talented landscape photographer James (you should check out his work if you don’t know him!). The last time I woke up before the sun rose was probably during last year’s FXA Landscape Photography Workshop down south. Last weekend Perth experienced one of the largest photo events of the year, Photo Live Expo. This year was my third year in a row that I have attended the ever growing event. There were a large variety of exhibitors in the main hall. All your big camera brands were present (Fujifilm had a nice central location in the hall). A simple breakfast like that and a hot cup of coffee was a lovely way to kick out our final day of vacationing. We walked around the pristine white sandy beaches for a bit after breakfast, enjoying the sun and the view.
