I was in the Perth city area on the weekend and had a spare hour before my next commitment. I figured I would take the opportunity to just walk around and shoot some urban landscapes and street photography. I don’t often do street portraits or intentionally include people in my shots. This time I tried to include people where possible to add some movement and story to my photos. I tried to keep this session simple. All JPEGs in Classic Chrome film simulation. I did import it into Lightroom and did some light retouching.
Walking all the way from Adelaide Terrace, then up along Murray and Hay, all the way to the other end of Hay Street towards the freeway is not something I do often if ever. So I was actually paying attention to new buildings and scenes that I haven’t really paid attention to in the past. This is the kind of photography I quite enjoy shooting so the hour flew by. It’s also been a while since I’ve shot just JPEG so I really enjoyed the colours I was getting straight out of camera! The configuration of the day my Fujifilm X-T10 and the 27mm f2.8 pancake lens. inconspicuous and subtle. I hope you enjoy them.
Thanks for stopping by today.
