After the walking Hooker Valley track, we hit the road south wards towards Lake Wanaka. Along the way we had two major stops to make, a salmon farm and Lindis Pass.
I will let the images do the talking. It will be a short one today.
First was a Salmon farm near by called High Country Salmon. We checked out the salmon farm, fed some fish and bought some fresh salmon sashimi to go.
Next was Lindis Pass. Lindis Pass is one of the most scenic drives in New Zealand and a must do if you’re on the South Island. The yellow/brown grass on the mountain slopes are pretty iconic and unique. The hilly and winding roads are a joy to drive on. Mid way through the pass, there’s a stop off point where you can get out and enjoy the unique landscape.
Thanks for stopping by today
