After we spending a bit of time at the markets, we continued on foot towards Darling Harbour. Darling Harbour is yet another well known must-see sight for any Sydney first timers. It’s located next to the city centre. The waterfront has lots of nearby attractions. We visited The Star Casino and walked along the harbour front until Kings Wharf. Given we were there close to midday, it wasn’t the best time to be taking photos. I did like a few of the photos I took of the yet-to-open Sydney Convention Centre in black and white. I have a tendency to enjoy taking architectural/building photos in black and white. There is just something about black and white that brings out the shapes and patterns of the buildings.
After a quick lunch in the CBD, we walked on towards The Rocks for our Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb. It was one of the priciest things I’ve done in my lifetime, but the experience was well worth it. Seeing Sydney at the top of the bridge is an indescribable feeling. The views are magnificent. I’m also a little bit scared of heights, so it was also partly overcoming a challenge. The Bridgeclimb was something that was recommended by multiple people. And I’m glad I did it.
Thanks for stopping by today.
